Please be 15 min. earlier to the event's start time.
Please make sure you have enough food -Breakfast or Lunch - before you join S.A. events as most of them are energy consuming events.

Please bring beverages accordingly; umbrella, sun-block, insect repellent, etc.. are always highly recommended.

Please wear as comfortable as possible: sporty shoes, light color but avoiding WHITE garment if the event involve lots of material movement.

Children are always welcome, but their parents are solely responsible for them. Sunshine Action won't be responsible for them during the event.

Events are generally ONLY be cancelled when it's typhoon No. 8 or Black Rain. Otherwise follow the same rules as most corporates in HKG. Which means Typhoon No. 3 is nothing for us.

Please take care of your health & consider the conditon before join the event.

Some dates are subjected to change, pleae whatsapp us to double check before coming and check our volunteer calendar.

You may see new faces & strangers from time to time at the same events. They are normally free & independent volunteers who come alone or smaller group. So, plesae introduce yourself & welcome them.

Please come only after received our e-mail confirmation, or check with your corporate or team leader as we count the appropriate numbers of volunteers per event.

Visit the Congenital Heart Disease Children in Guangzhou Hospital which we cover the surgery cost - please check date with us.

For several years, SUNSHINE ACTION partner with廣東救援輔助隊 to find the poor children with Congenital Heart Disease in CHINA which need life-saving surgeries. Most of them will come in group to complete the surgery in Guangzhou Military Hospital.

We recruit volunteers to visit them pre & post surgeries everytime.

Overfishing occurs when fishing activities reduce fish stocks below an acceptable level.

We often consume too many marine resources, but forget to put back in return. The fishing rest period in Hong Kong is only 2 months which is far from enough. In China, this period is 2.5 months only.

Ultimately overfishing may lead to resource depletion in cases of subsidised fishing, low biological growth rates and critical low biomass levels.
For example, overfishing of sharks has led to the upset of entire marine ecosystems.

For several years, SUNSHINE ACTION partner with 香港廣東救援輔助隊 to find the poor children with Congenital Heart Disease in CHINA which need life-saving surgeries. Most of them will come in group to complete the surgery in Guangzhou Military Hospital.

自2011年起，一直每個月提供寵物食品和材料給約300只流浪狗

及80 被遺棄的貓及偶爾安排義工團隊，幫助狗洗澡

We organize volunteer trips to over 14 countries such as India, Thailand, Mongolia, Nepal, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Chile, Philippines, Malaysia, China, Macau, Cambodia, Vietnam etc.. to experiment local volunteering services and provide food & material supports.
